Stay Alert, Stay Armored, and Stay Alive in Jesus Christ

Welcome to OUR "Wisdom Watchers" Blog!

Hello! I'm Josh Creson, the founding and teaching pastor at Formed For Christ Ministries. I'm thrilled to introduce our Wisdom Watcher blog, with the goal of eventually starting a podcast. This blog is intended for a broad audience, but its primary focus is on guarding our hearts and thoughts and growing in wisdom and our devotion towards our Heavenly Father and Savior, Jesus Christ. As you engage with this content, expect to be both encouraged and challenged to:

• Staying Alert in the Bible, being mindful in all physical and spiritual situations

• Staying Armored in the Battle, keeping your armor donned and spirit-filled, and

• Staying Alive in the Bread of Life, Jesus Christ, remaining nourished and strengthened, and doing what is righteous for His Kingdom.

At Formed For Christ Ministries, we believe in a pre-tribulation rapture. We will discuss the rapture more in future posts but know that the rapture is simply the point in time when Jesus calls us (the Church) home to be with Him in Heaven before the tribulation occurs, which is seven years of the worst devastation and destruction the world has ever seen or experienced. Though we truly believe Christians will be saved from the tribulation, this does not mean we will avoid any of the increasing "birth pains" or wars, natural disasters, and otherworldly dangers leading up to the tribulation period.

Know that we are in times of increasing birth pains, and things will progressively move closer to Jesus' return. Formed For Christ Ministries and the Wisdom Watcher blog and podcast were founded with this Biblical truth in mind. I hope and pray that this blog and our ministries will honor, praise, and glorify Jesus Christ by educating Christians and non-believers to consider the times and the need to be alert, awake, and alive in Christ.
