Why Small Groups?
Our culture's pervasive consumer mentality has affected the way we view community. Instead of focusing on what we can offer to church or small groups, we prioritize what we can gain from them.
We need each other to better understand ourselves and God and how to align our lives with these truths. Just as iron sharpens iron, the relationships we build within our small communities can be a tool for God to mold and shape our character.
Taking the risk of being authentic with a small group enables us to experience God's grace and love through others, leading to personal freedom and transformation. God will do this in us and through us because of our relationships with Him and within the community.

growing in Christ
We are all co-strugglers, co-supporters, co-submitters, and co-servers in the body of Christ. However, to grow, we must no longer co-sign on sinful behaviors. Small Groups create opportunities for what we call the 4Rs: Relate, Renew, Recover, and Remember. Chip Ingram came up with an acronym called B.I.O.: Come "Before God" Daily, Do Life "In Community" Weekly, and Be "On Mission" 24/7. Small Groups encourage one another to live out our faith!

"Bio is a word that is synonymous with 'life.' Found in those three simple letters (B.I.O.) is the key to helping you become the person God wants you to be."

CO-SERVERS!
Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord and not for people, knowing that it is from the Lord that you will receive the reward of the inheritance. It is the Lord Christ whom you serve.
